Research Interests

My research interests include the application of cutting-edge light-sheet microscopy to answer basic biological questions at the tissue scale, but with cellular level resolution. As well, I am interested in tissue clearing methods that facilitate imaging normal and diseased states in whole organs or developing embryos.

As a postdoctoral fellow with Frederic Geissman in SKI’s Immunology program, I helped discover the origin of osteoclasts the bone resorbing macrophages and contributed to the development a novel treatment for osteopetrosis.

As a graduate student with Mike Dustin at the Skirball Institute at NYU I worked on studying the dynamics of the immunological synapse formation using TIRF, Single Molecule, and Super resolution imaging, methods.
